Lauren Disley - The Lost Squirrels Creatives
I’m Lauren (she/her), founder of The Lost Squirrel Creatives – where proactive graphic design meets my clients’ big picture strategy. Through the events space, I support businesses to gain the visibility they deserve, whether they’re attending, exhibiting, or running their own (online included). Design shouldn’t just look good; it should work hard for your business and help you show up with confidence and clarity.
Empowerment, adaptability and inclusivity aren’t just my values – they shape how I work and the spaces I create. I make room for people to show up exactly as they are, because when we feel seen and supported, we’re far more likely to shine.
Outside of work, I’m a Girlguiding volunteer, proud cat mum to two troublesome kitties, and simply trying to navigate life with a chaotic ADHD brain. I know that crowded, busy spaces can feel overwhelming, but with the right people around you, they can become uplifting instead.
That’s why I’m so excited to be hosting the Manchester branch of The NETwork. I’ve tried all sorts of networking groups over the years—some too stiff, some too casual—but most of all, I just didn’t feel like I belonged. The NETwork is different, and I genuinely mean that. It’s a space where everyone is welcome, no matter of your background, identity, mobility, or how your brain works.
Everyone deserves to be heard, to be seen, and to grow a business on their own terms. I can’t wait to welcome you in.

What does a free membership include?
The NETwork is a unique community for entrepreneurs and those curious about entrepreneurship. Our mission is to create a welcoming, inclusive space that values genuine connections, collaboration, and education. It’s ideal for heart and purpose led entrepreneurs with a drive for impact who seek a nurturing environment to grow alongside like-minded individuals.
Is there a paid version of the membership?
Yes there is. The £10 monthly membership includes access to all online events plus the replays, so you can catch up on valuable insights anytime. For £37 a month, you'll get everything in the online membership, plus access to in-person networking events – a perfect option for those who value face-to-face connections.
What makes The NETwork different from traditional networking groups?
Unlike traditional networking groups, The NETwork focuses on creating an inclusive, collaborative, and supportive environment. Do I have to be an established business owner to join?
Not at all! The NETwork is open to anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit, whether you're an established business owner, just starting out, or simply exploring the idea of entrepreneurship. If you’re seeking genuine connections and a welcoming community, you're in the right place.
Can I attend in-person events without a £37 membership?
Our in-person events are part of the £37 per month membership plan, which also includes online access and replays. However, you can buy a guest pass to give you a chance to experience our events and consider membership. Keep an eye out for announcements!
